Walks
Introduction
Walking is a way of keeping healthy. It is a way of getting to know the area and sharing information about changes over time - the landscape, the buildings, a way of life and the story behind place names. A way of remembering people, events and to share old and new memories.
The four walking routes note the sites of past buildings, or their past use, such as a shop, a mansion, a smithy and a courthouse. Other places of historical interest remain in place.
